Professional Profile
I undertook my Higher Surgical Training in Ophthalmology in Nottingham
where I was the Clinical Lecturer. During this time I gained a Doctorate of
Medicine research degree. In 1999 I was awarded The Royal College of
Ophthalmologists Keeler Scholarship and underwent advanced subspecialty
training in Vitreoretinal Surgery at Manchester Royal Eye Hospital.
My clinical practice includes fast track day case cataract surgery
including complex cases such as high myopes. I sub-specialise in
vitreoretinal surgery, including treatments for retinal detachment, macular
hole, diabetic retinopathy and the complications of cataract surgery.
Personal Profile
My wife and I enjoy music, dance and good food. We are
currently learning to navigate at sea, and one day hope to be able to sail
away with our two young daughters to paradise (just as soon as we can find
it on the map).
